The New Testament writers speak about “the grace of giving,” (2 Corinthians 8:7). Each week we have an opportunity to partner together as a church and participate in this grace of giving. We believe that giving financially to the Lord, as we are able, forms us into people of generosity and abundance and protects us from becoming people of scarcity and hoarding. Our weekly collection goes directly towards the work of reaching the communities of the New River Valley. This is not a time to feel coerced or to give out of compulsion, but is a time for members to give what God has enabled them and set on their hearts.
